Monster box for sale, how to without getting scammed.

r/pmsforsale sucked. I couldn’t post this on there so here I am.

I’ve inherited a green, sealed monster box I understand is silver eagles.

I’d like to sell it.

How do I go about Selling this to get the best value for it? I imagine if someone wanted to buy it they would want to open it. Wouldn’t that hurt its value if it’s opened?

What would a reasonable price for it be? Looking at boxes on popular precious metals sites they seem to be selling for about $40k.

I can take it to a local coin shop I assume but don’t they usually pay less than spot?

I’m trying to figure out how to attach a pic using imgur I guess.

I’m in the mountain Western United States of that helps.

Also, how do you not get scammed?
