Little confession here

Went by my LCS today with the intention of swapping some silver for gold.

I’m heavy on silver in comparison to what I have for gold and thought it might be a good idea to rebalance a bit while the GSR was at 64 today; however, while the owner was testing the rounds I brought in, he pretty much chastised me for even wanting to make the decision.

“Look, we’ll do the trade but please don’t do this trade until this time next year.” “Are you stacking for fun, or security? Cuz this is your safety net you’re about to trade.” “Why don’t you just buy more silver?”

The owner told me in no uncertain terms they expect silver to hit $200 and gold to hit $7500 by Christmas 2026 and they’ve talked ten customers this week out of swapping silver for gold just because of their insistence that these prices will be realized.

I’m happy to say I didn’t do the trade but lowkey ashamed I considered it and offer myself up for public shaming.
